Six Sponsors Announced for ‘Race in Pink Event’ in Aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute

The Galway Races, in partnership with the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), are delighted to announce six valued sponsors who have come on board to support this year’s “Race in Pink” event on Sunday, 26th October 2025.

The event, now one of the highlights of the autumn racing calendar, combines thrilling National Hunt racing with an important fundraising effort for breast cancer research. This year’s eight-race card will be generously supported by:

Colm Quinn BMW not only sponsors a race on the day but is also a key partner of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI) through the BMW iX2 Car Raffle, with tickets priced at €20 each or three for €50, and the winning draw taking place at 4:30pm during the event.

The second race is sponsored by The Irish European Breeders’ Fund (Irish EBF), firmly established as the largest sponsor of Irish racing and providing record levels of prizemoney year after year.

Glenman Corporation will sponsor the day’s feature race at 2pm, with Brasserie on the Corner, Galway’s award-winning restaurant known for its community spirit, also joining the sponsorship line-up.

Supermac’s will sponsor the 3.05pm Novice Hurdle, while Glenlo Abbey Hotel, the five-star estate celebrated for its luxury hospitality, adds further prestige to the event. Also proudly supporting the cause is Galway Plastic Surgery, reinforcing their commitment to health, wellbeing, and the local community.
