Supporters of Galway Races are invited to join ‘The Club’ for 2023 with an exceptional array of benefits, including experiences both on and off the track.

We look forward to welcoming you all back to Ballybirt next year for our highly anticipated ‘Galway Races Summer Festival’ that occurs from Monday 31st to Sunday 6th August 2023. We’re currently in full planning mode so lots to look forward to. We always welcome your comments, feedback and suggestions. Club Events

What can you expect as a Club Member?

Thank you for supporting the Galway Races. We’ve been delighted to get to know so many of our Club members. 

in 2022 our Club Members enjoyed:

  • A day trip to Joseph O’Briens yard in Pilltown County Kilkenny: in April 2022 we organised a money can’t day out to one of the most successful racing yards in Ireland, Joseph O’Briens. Our Club Members got to meet and chat to Joseph and his team; see first-hand the horses on the gallops and check out his world-class racing facilities. This really was a showstopper! All this followed by a delicious lunch afterwards. Transport was provided for all our guests. Such a special day. 
  • The Club Members Bar: for the Summer Festival 2022 our Club Members had access to the ‘Club Members Bar’ located behind the Millennium Stand. A great place to relax, grab a cup of coffee or drink, meet and chat to other Club members (and gain shelter should it rain!). 
  • A day trip to County Kildare: in November 2022 our Club Members joined us on a day trip to the Thoroughbred County of Kildare to visit ‘RACE’, the highly impressive Racing Academy and Centre of Excellence, followed by a fantastic experience at The National Stud & Japanese Garden’s, taking in the Racehorse Experience. Lunch was provided by Chef Natalie Collins and team at the National Stud. Such a brilliant day and experience for all.
