ACCESSIBILITY

Disabled Parking

There are disabled parking facilities available at Entrance B (please follow Blue/Green Traffic Route) and Entrance C (please follow Red Traffic Route)

These disabled parking facilities are subject to capacity on the day and provide easier accessibility to the racecourse entrances.

Disabled Toilet Facilities

The Killanin Stand offers disabled toilet facilities on each of its four floors, as well as on the ground floor of the Millennium Stand. Additional facilities are available near the Parade Ring and behind the Owners & Trainers Bar.

Viewing Areas

Dedicated disabled viewing areas within the enclosure:

  • Viewing area at the Parade Ring
  • Viewing area just past the finishing post
  • Viewing area on the first floor of the Killanin Stand

Entry To The Racecourse

Each entrance to the Galway Races has a pass gate in addition to the turnstiles, allowing easier access for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Once inside the racecourse, access to higher levels can be made via elevators.

Medical Facilities

Medical personnel will be on-site throughout the races and are available to assist with any medical needs. They can be found in the First Aid Room next to Entrance B.

Three defibrillators are located within the enclosure: one on the ground floor of the Millennium Stand, one on the ground floor of the Killanin Stand, and one in the Administration Office, next to the Weighroom.
