Throwback Tuesday - Tuesday 30th July

Day 2 of the Galway Races Summer Festival 2024

Join us on Tuesday 30th July for day two of the Galway Races Summer Festival 2024, first race 5.10pm. Regarded as Ireland’s largest horse racing festival, the iconic Galway Races boasts superb horse racing, hospitality, entertainment with Live Bands and DJ’s daily, stunning fashion and an electric atmosphere that continues to draw people from Ireland and abroad to experience the sheer magic and infectious fun atmosphere that we are famous for!

Racing on Tuesday centers around the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap underpinned by a superb prize pot of €120,000 designed to attract the best handicappers in this division in Ireland. On Tuesday we are also delighted to have the sponsorship support from the Latin Quarter and Caulfield Industrial.

Music Line Up – Tuesday

This year Galway Races present to you its biggest music line up yet! Over the seven days of the Galway Races Summer Festival we have over fifty live music performances and entertainers booked. On  Tuesday enjoy music from:

  • Spring Break
  • The Gamblers
  • Rhythm Train DJ Set
  • Piano Man Barry Ryan
  • DJ Doc

The racecourse offers a wide variety of hospitality experiences. From panoramic views over looking the race track, to more casual fun group packages, we can offer you a variety of experiences, be it with friends or colleagues. Our all- inclusive ‘Festival Package’ at €35 per person is ideal and very popular for large groups [minimum booking of 10 people applies for group packages]. We look forward to welcoming you and your friends. NEW: The Parade Ring Lounge 

It’s All About The Location! Prices start from €25 per person. 

Located in a prime position beside the Weight Room. The Parade Ring Lounge offers our race goers an elevated racing experience in a great location beside the parade ring, in which you can enjoy the electric and fun atmosphere that the Galway Races is famous for. The Parade Ring Lounge will open as gates open, 2 ½ hours before the first race. Marquee will close one hour after the last race.
