Join us for 'The Opening Day’ on Monday 28th July as we have a special treat for our racegoers in front of the Grandstand with a lively colourful musical performance! First race of seven races is off at 4.10pm.
Galway Plate Day
Country Music Day at the Galway Races! Tune in for one of the big races of the week, the historic Tote Galway Plate, worth €270,000. This race is awash with quality, with experienced chasers taking on emerging youngsters and has produced some high-class recent winners including, Balko Des Flos and Road To Riches. Bring it on!
Ladies Day
Widely renowned as ‘Ladies Day’ at the Galway Festival, Thursday combines the very best in racing and fashion for the pinnacle of the summer racing calendar.
Mad Hatters Competition
Our best line-up yet for our young racing fans. A day filled with colour, entertainment and fun for all the family. Join in the hugely popular 'Mad Hatters Day' competition with fantastic prizes on offer.
