JOIN FORCES WITH THE GALWAY RACES FOR THEIR UPCOMING FESTIVAL.

 

10 weeks to go until The Galway Races ! As preparations intensify for Ireland’s largest horse racing festival, which takes place over one action packed week from Monday 29th July to Sunday 4th August , excitement mounts with the announcement of another new partnership. Today, Galway Racecourse proudly reveals a new sponsor for their race week program, local family-owned business, Whiriskey Refrigeration. ‘Whiriskeys’ are currently celebrating 50 years in business and what a way to mark the occasion!

 

Whiriskey Refrigeration have signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Galway Racecourse to sponsor the fifth race on Saturday 3rd August, ‘The Whiriskey Refrigeration Irish European Breeders Fund Nursery Handicap Race’.

 

Commenting on the new sponsorship deal, Chief Executive of Galway Racecourse, Michael Moloney, said, “It’s wonderful to have a local family business based here in Galway supporting us and coming on board to sponsor a race on Saturday’s card. Whiriskey Refrigeration should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved over the last fifty years, growing into one of the largest refrigeration and air conditioning companies in Ireland. We wish the Whiriskey Family continued success in all their endeavours and look forward to hosting a special day for them and their team on Saturday of race week.
