Widely renowned as ‘Ladies Day’ at the Galway Races Summer Festival, Thursday combines the very best in horse racing and stunning fashion.
Thursday also features the much sought after Galway Hurdle Handicap race with an impressive prize fund of €270,000 on offer. One of the biggest days in the Irish Racing calendar, this event is also an unmissable day out for both racing and fashion lovers alike.

HOW TO GET SELECTED?
The Galway Races has a long-held tradition of selecting ladies on site. Judges choose ladies from the crowd and hand them the hotly sought after “Finalist Badge”.
Pre-register is also open via our website:
Pre Registration Opens: Wednesday July 30th 6pm
Pre Registration Closes: Ladies Day 11am
Simply upload a photograph of the Ladies Day outfit, including contact details. Participants must be in attendance on Ladies Day to get selected.
Judges receive all entries and chosen finalists will be contacted by telephone.
Completion time for judging concludes at 3pm on Ladies Day.
