Day 2 of the Galway Races Summer Festival 2021

Join us on the second day of the 2021 Galway Races Summer Festival for a fantastic evening of great horse racing, first race off at 4.35pm. Regarded as Ireland’s largest horse racing festival, tune into all the action on the day with RTE television, Racing TV and on radio with Galway Bay FM.

This July, stay in touch with all that’s happening at the Galway Races by tuning in daily to their social media channels via Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The team in Galway have lots of interviews, fun and entertainment planned to keep their fans engaged in the build up to and during the races, including:

  • The Weights Release on Monday 19th July via Facebook and Instagram LIVE.
  • A dedicated What’s App phone line during the festival for fans to send in their text messages and videos of support direct to all taking part in Ballybrit. Applicable race week only, send your messages into (087) 932 8015.
  • Daily onsite show ‘The Mane Attraction’ direct from the team at the track, bringing you up close and personal and behind the scenes of Irelands largest horse racing festival.

Racing that evening centres around the COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap underpinned by a superb prize pot of €120,000 designed to attract the best handicappers in this division in Ireland. That evening we are also delighted to have the sponsorship support from the Latin Quarter and Caulfield Industrial.

  • 3rd race, 5.45pm: COLM QUINN BMW Irish EBF Corrib Fillies Stakes
  • 4th race, 6.15pm: COLM QUINN BMW Mile Handicap
  • 5th race, 6.45pm: The Handicap
  • 6th race, 7.15pm: The Caulfield Industrial Handicap
  • 7th race, 7.45pm: The Latin Quarter Handicap
