Day 1 of the Galway Races September Festival 2020

Autumn racing returns to Ballybrit, kicking off with a two day meeting in September, Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th. Monday 7th September is an action packed national hunt card with seven races on offer.


  • 1st race 4.05pm: The Kenny Developments Maiden Hurdle
  • 2nd race 4.40pm The Handicap Hurdle
  • 3rd race 5.10pm The Deacy Gilligan Hurdle
  • 4th race 5.40pm The Galway Handicap Hurdle
  • 5th race 6.10pm The Win Big with Tote Beginners Steeplechase
  • 6th race 6.40 The Galway Handicap Steeplechase
  • 7th race 7.10pm The Kenny Developments Handicap Steeplechase
  • 8th race 7.40pm The Galway Flat Race
